Kang's
Taekwondo Academy, Manitoba's largest taekwondo academy, features
its headquarters at 845 King Edward Street in
Winnipeg and many branch locations throughout Manitoba,
Ontario and Saskatchewan.
Founded by Great Grand
Master Joo Won Kang in 1976, Kang's Academy celebrates its
37th year in Canada.
Great
Grand Master Kang is one of the founding members, as well as
being one of the instructors, that were instrumental in forming
the WTF Taekwondo Association of Canada to the status that is
today.
Kang's
Taekwondo Academy hosted the first official Canadian National
Taekwondo Championships in 1979 and again in 1993, hosted the
15th official Canadian National Taekwondo Championships in Winnipeg.
Kang's
Taekwondo Academy is one of only a few taekwondo schools in
Canada today that offers the most comprehensive, holistic and
traditional taekwondo systems of training that have been passed
on from generation to the next.
Kang's
Taekwondo Academy is an educational and family oriented institute
