On August 14, 2009, members of Kang’s Taekwondo Academy attended the 34th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Awards Ceremonies held in Winnipeg after. In attendance were Guests of Honour Grand Master J. W. Kang and Mrs. Y. Kang.

Each year instructors from Kang’s Academy Branches in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario select members who, over the past year, have shown excellence in their respective categories.


Receiving top honours in 20 categories were :
