On April 24, 2010, Grand Master Joo Won Kang was host to the 34th Can-Am Games. Held at the Investor's Group Athletic Centre at the University of Manitoba, athletes from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Minnesota competed in both Poomse (patterns) and Gyurookee (sparring) competition.
